Married At First Sight Season 3 Couples UPDATE: Where Are They Now?

Season 3 of Married At First Sight featured 3 couples and took place in Atlanta Georgia.  The three couples were Vanessa Nelson and Tres Russell, Ashley Doherty and David Norton and the last but not the least Samantha Role and Neil Bowlus. At the finale, two couples divorced while Tres and Vanessa who seemed to be a fan favorite stayed together. But not long, as they also got a divorce. So where are they now since the show aired? Ashley & David:

This couple didn’t have a chance from day 1 because there was zero chemistry. Ashley wasn’t feeling David at anytime during the show while David was happy with Ashley. They also had some trust issues when David allegedly reached out to another woman on social media. David insisted he reached out to learn more about his ex-wife while Ashley says he had asked the woman out. Despite all their issues, David tried to make the marriage work but Ashley just wasn’t interested nor attracted to David. At the end, it was no surprise they got a divorce.

David Norton Update – David recently appeared on the spin-off series Married at First Sight: Second Chances last summer, which he starred alongside fellow MAFS co-star Vanessa. His current relationship status is unknown as he was dating a woman named Kimberly Burch according to his Twitter and Instagram pages, but the last photo he shared of them together was back in October. He continues to work in Sales, and spends a lot of his free time hanging out and most recently celebrating the appearance of his favorite NFL team – the Bills making it to the playoffs.

Ashley Doherty Update – Ashley doesn’t post much on her social media pages although she did share a post on her Twitter last February in which she revealed she was 3 classes away from getting her nursing degree. She is more active on her personal Facebook page which shows she graduated in December 2017 and her boyfriend of a year and a half years was there to support her. Good for Ashley!

Sam & Neil:

It was not love at first sight for these two as Samantha wasn’t exactly attracted to Neil since their meeting at the altar. Neil did try to get into her good graces and on one occasion, Sam confessed to missing him while he was away on a trip. Because Sam wasn’t feeling Neil, she did come across somewhat mean during the show. At the end of the show, they seemed to have gotten closer but it wasn’t enough to stay together for Neil. Needless to say Neil and Sam got a divorce even though Samantha wanted to stay married. Despite their divorce, the two have remained friends and share pictures on social media.

Sam Role Update – Sam recently announced she is engaged to be married! Her boyfriend proposed to her during the weekend of January 6, 2018 and she said YES! She shared an update about her engagement on her Instagram page writing, “I flew to #ATL this weekend to celebrate @chrisw1687 birthday. Not only did I get to spend time with him, but HE PROPOSED! #ISaidYes❤️ #SoonToBeMrsWise #2018Engagement.”

MAFS Samantha Role Engaged Update

Neil Bowlus Update – As for Neil, he appears to still be single and occasionally posts on his social media pages including his Instagram and Twitter where he recently congratulated his ex-wife Sam on her engagement. That tweet is below. Neil also hangs out often with former castmate Tres.

Vanessa & Tres:

This was the favorite couple of the season and it was love at first sight for these two. During the show airing, there were rumors swirling around that Tres was somewhat of a player. Vanessa was worried that Tres wasn’t husband material enough while Tres didn’t think Vanessa trusted him. Needless to say, everyone was shocked when the duo were divorced prior to the reunion. Vanessa did appear on a spin off show, MAFS Second Chances with fellow alum David. The season ended with Vanessa getting engaged to Andre however they ended their relationship.

Vanessa Nelson Update – Vanessa is busy these days working on her blog – XOVanessa and living her best life based on her posts on her Instagram and Twitter pages. She appears to still be single and mostly shares pictures of herself out on the town plus photos of her adorable dog. A recent photo is below.

Tres Russell Update – Tres continues to sells luxury cars at the Audi North Atlanta car dealership, and appears to still be single as well! He spends most of his time hanging out with his former MAFs castmates most notably Neil as you can see from his top Instagram photos from 2017.
