It seems like all the drama may be behind for these former BFFs as Bethenny Frankel, 47, reunited with Jill Zarin, 54, during the funeral of her late husband Bobby Zarin.
Bobby, 71, lost his long battle with cancer on Saturday (January 13) and was laid to rest the following Monday. Despite the fact that Bethenny and Jill hadn’t stayed in touch since their infamous feud during the season three of Real Housewives of New York City, Bethenny, upon hearing of Bobby’s death, reportedly chartered a private jet right away and cut her Aspen vacation short so she could be in attendance at his funeral.
The ladies are pictured above having a moment outside of the funeral in front of Bravo cameras as the network reportedly filmed the memorial for the next season of RHONY.
And following the funeral, it appears Bethenny and Jill might be back on a path to being friends again as Bethenny posted some kind words to Jill on Instagram. She wrote, “I am sorry for your loss. After the storm, the clouds will disappear and the sun will shine again”.
And in an interview with PEOPLE, Jill opened up about reuniting with Bethenny.
“When we talked, she said, ‘I loved Bobby.’” Jill shared.“She said, ‘I got very emotional, I didn’t expect that and I cried.’”
According to Jill, one of Bobby’s wishes was to see her reunite with Bethenny. She reveals Bobby loved Bethenny and even blamed Jill for the way things went down between the ladies. Jill revealed, “He said, ‘You don’t have to be best friends but you should be friends”.
It looks like Bobby’s wish may come through or at the very least this can mark a new beginning for the former friends. Bethenny may be open to a reconciliation as she responded to Jill by saying, “Well, I’m here.”
Jill states that while her conversation with Bethenny was “pretty quick,” she adds that “it was warm, it was nice. It was sincere.”
“I feel like Bobby is now saying, ‘Thank God it’s over. Over and done,’ ” added Jill.
