Kylie Jenner has given birth!
The 20-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star welcomed a baby girl weighing in at 8 pounds, 9 ounces with boyfriend Travis Scott on Thursday, February 1. The two started dating last April.
This news is pretty stunning because Kylie has pretty much stayed hidden from the public eye since news of her pregnancy broke back in September. The new mom released a statement moments ago sharing her good news with her fans.
“I’m sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions,” tweeted Kylie. “I understand you’re used to me bringing you along on all my journeys. My pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world. I knew for myself I needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress free, and healthy way I knew how. There was no gotcha moment, no big paid reveal I had planned. I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness.”
She thanked her family and friends, and described her pregnancy as “the most beautiful, empowering, and life changing experience I’ve had in my entire life and I’m actually going to miss it.”
Kylie also shared an 11-minute and 32-second video documenting her pregnancy journey. The video footage includes ultrasounds, doctor visits, private moments with her family, as well as many sweet moments between Kylie and her rapper beau Travis. The video ends with Kylie cradling her newborn baby.
Kylie has yet to announce the name of her daughter.
