This season on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, fans have noticed an interesting shift in the friendship dynamic involving Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump.
First, Lisa appeared to feel left out when Kyle and Dorit Kemsley started getting closer. And then later on during the season, Kyle blew a fuse when she thought Lisa wasn’t hard enough on Dorit, and was favoring Dorit over her.
So where does this friendship triangle stand today? Well Kyle is opening up about the status of her relationship with both Lisa and Dorit.
In an interview with Bustle, Kyle reveals that when it comes to Dorit, they actually have a great friendship.
“I actually really adore Dorit and the audience has given her a hard time. It’s always hard to see that,” says Kyle. “The audience sees her as one way and I spend a lot of time with her in person.”
Kyle, who calls Dorit a “good person”, says she really enjoys her personality. “But I can also respect someone who’s at least being honest, showing their true colors as opposed to someone trying to be so PC. That’s really boring. I like watching her, she makes me laugh,” she says.
When it comes to her relationship with Lisa, that appears to be somewhat of a work in progress.
“Obviously we have our issues, that all really happened, it did,” Kyle says of her drama with Lisa this season. “I don’t understand why Lisa is like, ‘Oh it’s fine’ with Dorit yet I’m under a microscope. I was just at my breaking point.”

Kyle shares that while things are better with Lisa these days, she does however still feel Lisa holds her to a different standard, something she would like to see change.
“Of course we’re better now, but she still holds me to a different standard,” explains Kyle. “And that’s fine if you’re such good friends, but, you can’t be saying, ‘Oh, this one’s my best friend’ all of a sudden and let things slide like that. It wasn’t making sense to me and I was feeling very frustrated.”
As for Lisa, she recently spoke out about her friendship with Kyle in a blog last week expressing she was disappointed in some of Kyle’s actions this season. Lisa also wondered why Kyle never apologized to her for badmouthing her with Dorit after she left the restauarant, while she had to apologize to Kyle on two occasions this season.
A new episode of the RHOBH airs Tuesday night on Bravo at 9/8c.
