Lala Kent announced the sudden passing of her father, Kent Burningham, on Instagram on Monday.
Along with a sweet video of her family, the Vanderpump Rules star told her fans and followers that her world has completely crumbled and said she’s never felt so lost and sad. In an exclusive, Reality Blurb can reveal to you how the Bravo star is coping with the sad tragedy.
“As of right now, Lala is in Utah with her family and staying out of the limelight,” a source revealed to Reality Blurb.
According to the insider, Lala has never been “more devastated” than she is right now, understandably.
“She just appreciates everyone’s kind words and prayers,” the insider added.

In addition to Lala’s Instagram post about her father’s death, her boyfriend of two years, Randall Emmett, shared the video above on his own page.
In the caption, Randall wrote, “We lost an amazing man this weekend. Our hearts are broken. But the love he gave us we will remember for the rest of time, I know your laughing and drinking in the heavens.”
Lala’s castmate Katie Maloney also shared some kind words. Katie wrote, “Sending all my love along the wire to this one! ??❤️ @lalakent.”
Lala’s father died on Saturday, April 21 of a possible stroke.
“He passed away suddenly and unexpectedly,” a source close to Lala told Page Six on Monday. “They’re not sure if it was a stroke yet. He passed away in his sleep.”
