Could Chicago be the next city to get its own Real Housewives franchise?
On Sunday morning, a shocking video surfaced on Instagram that has many fans of the hit Bravo TV franchise convinced that The Real Housewives of Chicago is coming soon.
In the clip, a man is heard saying that someone was “trying out for Real Housewives of Chicago right now” before the camera pans to a sign in which the Real Housewives logo is seen with the words “of Chicago” beneath it.
News of the potential new series comes just months after Andy Cohen spoke to Jenny McCarthy on an episode of his late-night talk show, Watch What Happens Live, about the potential series. He confirmed that Bravo TV did once cast in the area.
“We cast there once and we just didn’t get it right,” he explained in December of last year.
Don’t Be Tardy‘s Brielle Biermann, the daughter of former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak, also spoke about the possible series in 2017, when she begged Andy for a Real Housewives of Chicago.
“I tweeted [to Andy] actually, and I said ‘Ohmigosh, let’s do a Real Housewives of Chicago. I’ll be the Kim, and all we have to do is find a Sheree and Nene.’ And I met Tim Anderson’s wife Bria and I really love her, and like, she’s the sweetest person ever, so I’m like, ‘Let’s get her on board,’” she explained to The Chicago Tribune.
On Twitter, fans have been calling for a Real Housewives of Chicago for years.

“I think we deserved a #RHOChicago next with some full figured women and the wives are holding hot dogs for the title card,” wrote a fan according to the All About the Real Housewives site.
