Things appear to be looking up for 90 Day Fiance’s Elizabeth Potthast and Andrei Castravet, but not everyone is buying it.
Elizabeth recently shared an Instagram Reel of the couple and their baby daughter Eleanor standing in front of a home that appeared to be under construction.
The next scene showed the young family in front of the completed home with Elizabeth captioning the reel, “Home Sweet Home.”
The house appears to be a significant upgrade from the one-level home the couple was previously living in, which was owned by Elizabeth’s father, Chuck Potthast.
Fans have called out Elizabeth and Andrei in the past over living rent-free in a house owned by her father, and while many fans are congratulating the couple on their new home, some commenters on Instagram questioned whether Chuck paid for this house, too.
“Congrats chuck!” one commenter said, implying that Chuck had purchased the new home.
Another commenter said, “Congrats! Did daddy buy for you?”
A third person said, “Can’t help buy [sic] wonder who ACTUALLY bought that house… just saying bc you know they beg that daddy for money all the time.”
The topic of real estate seems to be a bone of contention for Elizabeth, Andrei, and the entire Potthast family.
Potthast family patriarch Chuck has a successful house flipping business, and it appears that most of his children want a slice of the real estate pie, which has caused huge drama and even violent confrontations between family members.
After Andrei expressed interest in real estate and even got his realtor license, Chuck invited him to be a part of the family business.
Several of Chuck’s children, including daughters Jenn and Becky and son Charlie, felt threatened by Andrei’s involvement in the business.,
After working with Chuck for a period of time, Andrei appeared to start acting like it was his business, at which point Chuck reminded him that he owns the business and he makes the big decisions.
Regardless of who purchased Elizabeth and Andrei’s new home, hopefully, they can settle down and avoid any real estate drama from now on.
