Teresa Giudice’s stucco mansion is a staple of the Real Housewives of New Jersey. Since season one, the home offered viewers a glimpse into Teresa’s luxurious life.
At the beginning of the franchise, Teresa was happily wedded to her husband Joe Giudice. Now, 11 years later, she’s engaged to another man, Luis Ruelas, with whom she currently lives.
The Bravo star tried to sell the mansion in September 2020 when she listed it at $2.5 million. After no one made an offer, she took $250,000 off the price. In March 2021, an offer was finally pending.
According to New York Post, the home is on the market again. The last offer recently fell through (it was under contract for nine months). Right before Thanksgiving, Teresa listed the house at $2,248,888.
Joe and Teresa purchased the property for $530,000 in 2002. They custom-built the house, which was eventually completed in 2008. The mansion has 10,000 square feet on nearly four acres of land.
The stucco and stone home contains a Cinderella staircase, which was showcased in several scenes on RHONJ when the daughters played on the steps. The home also features a black marble floor, wine cellar, and gourmet chef’s kitchen (with stainless steel appliances and a butler’s pantry). A covered patio and in-ground pool can be seen on the outside.
Teresa held onto the house when she went to prison in 2015 after pleading guilty to fraud. While she served time, Joe took care of the children. When she was released, Joe served his own sentence before being deported to Italy.
Although the exes have gone their separate ways, Joe is now fighting to return to the United States so he can be with his four daughters again.
Teresa recently stated she was sad to sell their home, but she wanted to move forward in her new life with Luis. The couple purchased a $3.35 million property earlier this year before getting engaged on the beaches of Greece.
