Last week, Lisa Vanderpump was hospitalized after being bucked off a horse. After the accident, Lisa was forced to undergo surgery.
During the fall, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum was thrown over the horse’s head before she landed on her back. The accident occurred after the horse got spooked, though Lisa had been riding the animal for nearly six years.
On Instagram on Sunday, Lisa shared an update after her procedure. She started off with a note of gratitude: “Thank you for all the well wishes and beautiful flowers, I am doing much better after surgery!”
She went on to reveal she has “4 fractures in my leg” as well as a “badly bruised back,” but she’s feeling hopeful and is “on the road to recovery.”
The star ended her post with a pun: “I will be back in the saddle of life soon!”
Several of her Bravo colleagues commented on the message. Garcelle Beauvais, one of the current cast members on RHOBH, responded with heart emojis, and Heather Dubrow expressed, “Get well soon !!!”
Katie Maloney shared, “sending you love!” Plus, Joyce Giraud sent several heart emojis as well. James Kennedy posted, “feel better soon Lisa sending you all the love.”
A few days ago, Lisa’s husband Ken said she may never ride a horse again.
