RHOBH’s Denise Richards Celebrates Daughter Sami on Her 18th Birthday Months After Their Estrangement, See Her Sweet Response

Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Denise Richards has seemingly begun to repair her relationship with her estranged daughter, Sami Sheen.

Sami, who turned 18 on Wednesday, was treated to a beautiful birthday Instagram post from her mom showing pictures of a young Sami up to her now adult-aged daughter.

In the caption, Denise wrote, “In a blink of an eye you’re 18…. !!!! Happy Birthday my beautiful Sami. I love you so much. Privately many more words to share with you. I love you unconditionally and I am very blessed & grateful to be your mom. And Nana is looking down celebrating with you????I love you my sweet Sami????
Happy 18th Birthday!????????????????????”

Soon after, Sami quickly followed up in the comments by telling Denise she loves her followed by heart emojis.

We’re so happy these two are mending fences, but it took some time for them to get to this point.

Viewers will remember that the mother/daughter’s estrangement began months ago after Sami abruptly moved out of Denise’s home, which she shares with husband Aaron Phypers and two other daughters, to move in with her father, Charlie Sheen.

Sami issued a damning statement at the time about how she felt during her time living with Denise on TikTok, claiming she was living in an abusive household.

In the video, she said, “1 year ago today: trapped in an abusive household, hated myself, would go days without eating or sleeping, insanely depressed, hated school, etc…”

She also added, “now: finally moved out of the hell house, had a spiritual awakening, own 2 cats, happy single, full of self love, and dropped out of high school :).”

Dropped out of high school? It’s no secret Sami didn’t like the rules Denise had set in place for her daughter, but trying to ensure your daughter is receiving their education is not unreasonable.

“I have a strained relationship with her and it’s very difficult. I know though we’ll get back to where we were, eventually. But right now, it is strained,” Denise told Jeff Lewis on the February 11 episode of SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live. “Obviously I would love for her to live with me. She lived with me all these years.”

Regardless, it seems the two have begun to kiss and make up. Here’s hoping they can gain more traction with their reconciliation.
