In an interview with TMZ, Lisa said she hasn’t heard from Jennie since the firing except through a single text message.
The reporter asked Lisa if the termination was fair. “I think that was a tough decision for them to make, and it was really hard for everyone involved,” she said, not fully answering the question.
When asked if Jennie should get a second chance at RHOSLC, the star answered, “I think everyone in life deserves a second chance. That’s what we’re trying to do. Just be a little bit better every single day and hopefully we learn from our mistakes and don’t make them again.”
“I think that after my hot-mic rant moment, there’s going to be a lot of repair to be done [with Meredith],” she told the outlet. “I’m definitely willing to work for that.”
“We can always hope [Meredith is receptive]. I mean, at the end of the day it’s forgiveness,” she continued. “I learned a lot from my last season, and I’m definitely making changes.”
Lisa will try to “talk it out before [she reaches] a hot-mic moment,” and she doesn’t want to “keep everything inside” again. She also hopes to “vent a little sooner, in small doses.”
The tirade has been called a ‘hot-mic moment,’ but several castmates believe Lisa knew what she was doing and wanted her words to air.
