The styles of Lisa Rinna are often the subject of debate, both on and off The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Since the early seasons of the show, castmates have discussed her iconic short hair (which she’s enjoyed for several decades).
During a reunion special, castmate Brandi Glanville took the first swing, slamming the hairstyle as old. Afterward, Lisa incorporated more wigs into her repertoire, each of which seem shockingly different.
On the Bravo Real Housewives subreddit, a user shared some old photos of the star, as well as some pics of her husband Harry Hamlin. Lisa’s yearbook photos – all in black-and-white – featured long dark hair and noticeably thicker eyebrows.
Many on Reddit thought the star looked unrecognizable.
“I examined this photo and could not find anything that resembles her as an adult. The closest I got was her bottom lip 👄,” said one commenter.
“Lisa Rinna looks a a [sic] totally different person,” wrote a different user.
Another expressed, “Lisa rinna is unrecognizable to me. she looked so different and like whole and beautiful.”
“Lisa Rinna: Voted most likely to have a face transplant,” joked another.
“That Lisa Rinna picture looks nothing like her!” said a different user.
Her husband Harry, who married Lisa over a quarter of a century ago, perhaps knows the secrets of her changing styles. In a February interview for People Magazine, the couple opened up about their relationship.
According to their story, Lisa met Harry when he was married to another actress, Nicollette Sheridan. After a few months, he asked Lisa to accompany him to Aspen, but she rejected his offer.
“I said no to Aspen and he called me everyday for two weeks during Christmas during the Aspen time and I got to know him and started talking to him and I thought he’s really nice. He’s very smart, he’s very intellectual, I started really liking him just by talking to him,” she said.
At an Italian restaurant, in the midst of their first date, Harry and Lisa had a seemingly prophetic waiter.
“He said, ‘oh you two you are love birds, you are soulmates,’ he said the whole evening, ‘you two are going to get married, you’re going to have kids,’ and this is our first date, the waiter is telling us all this stuff and we’re going wait a minute,” shared the L.A. Law star.
The rest of their romance – just like Lisa’s yearbook appearance – is history.
