The separation and divorce between Real Housewives of Miami couple Dr. Lenny and Lisa Hochstein is getting more complicated by the day.
After denying that he and Lisa were not divorcing, days later Lenny changed his tune and confirmed the rumors to be true as he was seen hanging all over his new model girlfriend, Katharina Mazepa.
Katharina is now speaking out and denying that she is the reason for Lisa and Lenny’s split. (Despite new reports of her attending Lisa’s Halloween party and even “liking” the couple’s photos.)
Speaking to Page Six, Katharina said that both she and Lenny have “been going through divorces” and that both were aware of that at the time they began their relationship.
“The reality is that both Lenny and I have been separated from our spouses for a while and are both going through divorces. I was informed Lisa was fully aware that he was going out with me,” Katharina told the news outlet.
She continued her defense by saying that she would never become engaged with a man “who is happily married.”
“We both started seeing each other after we had both separated from our spouses,” the model claimed.
Katharina also defended Lenny, saying that he is doing everything in his power to protect his family and children and “do right by everyone involved in this difficult process.”
Katharina’s rep also issued a statement, saying, “Katharina made Lenny aware that she herself was navigating a divorce, and he made her aware that he was currently going through a separation and divorce as well. They are in the early stages of getting to know each other. They are both going through similar circumstances, and together they bonded over navigating their own divorces from their recent first date.”
Lisa has said that she was “blindsided” by the bombshell divorce news and has blasted the new couple’s relationship as “reckless.”
“With two young children involved, as a mom, I’m going to focus all of my energy and time on them,” Lisa said.
The question is, was she really as “blindsided” by the news as she’s letting on?
In a new report by The Daily Mail, Lisa was seen hanging out and partying with famous director Michael Bay just days before the divorce announcement was made.
In photos that were obtained, Lisa looked to be happy and in good spirits with RHOM co-star Larsa Pippen in tow. The threesome was attending the American Express Presents Carbone Beach Party.

Lenny was nowhere to be seen that night, so it adds up that this coincides with his timeline and his statements about their divorce being in the works for quite a while as opposed to being so sudden.
His announcement reads, “Lisa and I are getting divorced. A few weeks ago, I denied this because I am trying my best to protect my family during this process. This is a very difficult time, and I would ask for some privacy so that we can best take care of our children who mean the world to us.”
Lenny has yet to file divorce papers as of now, though.
