Real Housewives of Beverly Hills OG Kyle Richards has confirmed the reason for selling her family’s luxurious Aspen vacation home.
In early June, Kyle did, in fact, confirm that the family was putting the vacation home on the market. The home was priced at $9.75 million.
The 2.426-square-foot home features four bedrooms and five bathrooms. It also boasts panoramic mountain views, two large decks, and a hot tub. The living room features “soaring” ceilings, exposed log beams, and a full-height fireplace. Plus, making the home feel even more like nature, there is an entire wall covered in natural river stones.
The Umanksys have made amazing memories in the home throughout the years. The family has spent a myriad of family holidays in the Aspen abode, including Christmas and New Year’s Eve. They’ve also had family movie nights there.
Taking to her Instagram story on June 23, Kyle explained amid speculation why the family is selling. “Our family is growing [and] we simply need more space,” Kyle explained, adding that she’s never “leaving Aspen.” So, is a new vacation on the horizon?
Kyle concluded her caption by saying, “This home is so special to me.”
After announcing the listing, many fans began to speculate as to why Kyle was selling. As avid viewers know, a major showdown happens in Aspen this year on RHOBH. Some cited that as the reason after Kyle admitted to Entertainment Tonight, “Things really got out of control, let me tell you… Aspen will never be the same…. When I went back this last time, I took some sage with me. [And] there was a Ouji board involved.”
However, it just seems a “growing” family is the reason. Do you buy Kyle’s story?
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.
