After announcing their divorce, Vanderpump Rules stars Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney, are looking to unload their marital home, and have recently drastically slashed the price on the property after only being on the market for a few weeks.
Originally the Cape Cod-style home was priced at upwards of $2.7 million, but according to RadarOnline, the price has been cut down by $154K. and is now sitting at $2.59 million.
The couple’s home was prominently featured on Vanderpump Rules as the former couple has been describing it as “celebrity-owned.” Former co-star, Jax Taylor, is also a neighbor.
The house boasts 3,593 square feet with 4 bedrooms and five bathrooms and is being described as perfect for a family “or looking to grow their family,” the outlet stated.
The backyard is equally as impressive.
The outdoor space includes a fountain-fed pool, a spa, and a patio with a fireplace and outdoor flatscreen television.
Even with the price drop, Katie and Tom are standing to make a good profit off their home as they originally purchased it for $1.9 million three years ago.
Tom and Katie’s house is pretty much the only asset that is keeping the couple tied to one another after Katie filed for divorce from Tom in March.
According to divorce documents obtained by Radar, it seems Katie and Tom want to have a clean break as both parties agreed that spousal support was unnecessary.
Katie was the one who initiated the divorce ending their 12-year relationship, but Tom said he’s not playing the “victim.”
“Yes, my heart aches but I’ll be ok. Not looking to evoke any sympathy here. I’m not the victim. Not going to write too sad a song. Fully respect Katie’s decision and we’ve had healthy, productive conversations about it. It would be far sadder if she decided to stay with me whilst not happy,” he told fans at the time.
