Whitney Rose Accuses Meredith Marks of “Seeking Revenge” Against Lisa With "Favors" Rumors as RHOSLC Stars Go Back and Forth in Shady Twitter War

On a dramatic episode of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Whitney Rose revealed a rumor that Lisa Barlow slept with a wealthy man, to sway him to invest in her company, Vida Tequila. In the same scene, Meredith Marks shared a rumor that Lisa gave “favors” to help “get places to pick up Vida Tequila.”

Later in the episode, before the cast embarked on a trip to Arizona, Whitney opened up about childhood abuse, and shared that certain memories were coming back to her again.

As the episode aired, Meredith unleashed her thoughts about Whitney on Twitter.

She first alluded to Whitney’s comment that the rumors were “not” absurd. The comment was perhaps pointed out to draw attention to Whitney’s new alliance – with Lisa herself.

“Whitney said it is not absurd and went into great detail on rumors about Lisa,” wrote Meredith. “Of course we see only a small snippet of what she said.” Meredith ended the post, “#RollFootage.”

Whitney clapped back in the comments, “Meredith stop deflecting. Everyone knows you have a vendetta against Lisa. You are CLEARLY are seeking revenge. I said what I said. I own it and I have apologized to [Lisa] and John Barlow for it. There is a difference between a fit and calculation.”

Meredith also responded to Whitney’s claim that Meredith never visited her home – until her feud with Lisa began.

“I don’t show up places uninvited,” said Meredith. “This past year was the first time I was invited over.”

Whitney then responded, “It would be nice if you showed up in scene and didn’t hide behind your key board on Twitter. BTW tonight’s not the night to come at me, you of all people ‘should know that’.”

On the same evening, Meredith referenced Whitney’s narrative from the confessional interviews. “Whitney stop telling me what I think and feel,” wrote the mother-of-three. “You have no idea. Worry about yourself.  Now I understand why lisa calls #whiskney.”

Whitney threw some shade in return: “I didn’t tell you what you are thinking sweetie. I said you are deflecting. I really don’t appreciate it. Tonight is hard enough for me to watch back. So to have my “friend” come at me RN really sucks.”

Later on, Meredith also called out Whitney for suggesting Meredith used the word “sexual” in her description of the Lisa rumors.

“Let’s be clear. I mentioned that there were rumors of trading favors that I said I did not believe,” said Meredith. “I did not say “sexual”. See, this is why you don’t bring little girls into adult situations… they stir the pot & put words in your mouth.”

She went on to ask, “You do not want to be in the middle of this? Then don’t insert yourself right in the middle.”

Meredith then retweeted a fan, who was addressing Whitney directly: “I understand tonight’s episode is hard for you, and you were incredibly brave, but Meredith is allowed to tweet about and discuss the show however … Also, Whitney remember how you treated [Meredith] when her father died…. Your tweet is a little hypocritical.”
