REPORT: Heather Dubrow Wants to Switch to RHOBH, Does She Think She’s “A Class Above” Her RHOC Castmates?

In 2021, producers made a surprising move by asking Heather Dubrow to return to Real Housewives of Orange County. Although fans were initially excited about her comeback, not long after the season began, some of them remembered why they never enjoyed her in the first place.

Throughout the low-rated season, Heather was accused of controlling the show and suffocating each scene as her will was imposed. Many viewers felt the show lost its wacky, wild energy, which was once the heart of the franchise.

According to sources speaking to Radar Online, Heather wants to switch from RHOC to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

“She just thinks she’s a class above her O.C. castmates, Tamra Judge included,” said the insiders.

The sources also claimed Heather “thinks she’d be a better fit” with castmates on RHOBH.

During BravoCon, Heather made comments that led fans to believe she was pitching herself for the Beverly Hills installment.

“I mean, Garcelle [Beauvais] and I have been friends for a long time, [Lisa] Rinna and I have known each other,” Heather revealed. “I do enjoy diamonds — let’s be clear. We’ll see where the wind takes us.”

Heather and her husband Terry just sold their Newport Beach mansion for a reported $55 million. Around the same time, they bought a $21 million penthouse in L.A.

The outlet was told RHOBH season 13 is supposed to begin filming in January. Insiders claimed the past season, which recently concluded, was difficult for both cast and crew, and everyone needed a break.

Insiders also claimed no one in the current cast knows if they’ll be asked back, but they’ll be informed before the Thanksgiving holiday.

Many fans aren’t interested in seeing Heather on either RHOBH or RHOC, and they point to her as the reason the show dropped in ratings. Some of her critics hope Tamra’s return will reestablish its former glory.

The Real Housewives of Orange County season 17 is expected to air in early 2023 on Bravo.
