Insiders have now confirmed the expected filming time for the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13, and revealed which castmates expect to get contracts. The last season of RHOBH was chock-full of tension, drama, and the alleged demise of a sibling relationship.
Until now, the details of RHOBH’s future was unclear, as reports indicated it was taking a break. This was a major difference from earlier this year when the show jumped almost immediately from season 11 to 12.
Sources speaking with Radar confirmed that RHOBH will begin filming in January, at the end of the month, though costars have not yet received contracts.
The insiders said Garcelle Beauvais, Sutton Stracke, Lisa Rinna, Erika Jayne, Kyle Richards, and Dorit Kemsley expect to get contracts within the next several weeks – by the start of January at the latest.
One of the insiders claimed Kathy Hilton is “being wishy-washy” over potentially returning to the show, which makes it difficult to know if she’ll agree to a contract.
The sources allege Diana Jenkins will not reclaim her diamond, and Crystal Kung Minkoff’s future is unknown.
The cast of season 12 (with the exception of Diana and Garcelle) attended the recent People’s Choice Awards. Insiders shared that some of the women left feeling good about their reunion, despite the previous season.
Initially, the only costars set to attend were Dorit, Erika, Sutton, and Lisa. Garcelle had work engagements, as Kathy and Kyle decided to attend at the last minute, revealing their change of plans only two days before the show.
The costars weren’t aware of Crystal’s attendance until eleven o’clock on the morning of the ceremony.
After the season’s end, Radar reported that RHOBH would take a “pause,” as production insiders revealed their need for a “break” after a “hard season” – which wore out both the cast and production team.
Sources claim the costars are now being patient – respecting the show’s decision – but are anxious to discover who’s returning for the upcoming season.
