Luann de Lesseps and Alex McCord have commenced the shade-fest after Alex confirmed her return to Bravo for the fourth season of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.

The stars, who were former enemies on Real Housewives of New York, never seemed to bury the hatchet, though Alex left over a decade ago. Though the cast members initially hit it off in season one, bonding over their love of elegance and class, the friendship quickly turned sour.

In a January 10 Instagram post, Luann addressed Alex’s Bravo return in a shady congratulations.

Reaching into the vault of old footage, Luann shared a scene when she told Alex to “go back from the cabinet you came out of.”

In the caption of the post, Luann added, “Well … guess who’s out of the cabinet.” She then tagged her former nemesis.

The post came hours after Alex wrote a shady post of her own. She addressed Luann’s infamous diss from a previous season when she slammed Alex for wearing “Herman Munster shoes” — a reference to the fictional monster from the CBS sitcom. During the argument, Alex defended herself by identifying the shoes as Louis Vuitton, to which Luann responded, “Even Louis Vuitton makes mistakes.”

On her recent Instagram post, shared by @commentsbybravo, Alex shared a photo of her “Louis Vuitton” shoe, writing in the caption it was “never, ever a mistake.”

Then, Luann’s good friend Jill Zarin commented on the post. Rather than defending Luann, however, Jill shared a mysterious wink emoji, perhaps approving of the sentiment.
