Randall Emmett is asserting that he is not engaged, contrary to what Vanderpump Rules star and ex-fiancée Lala Kent says.
Lala recently appeared on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live late-night talk show for a little chat. She alleged that not only had Randall moved on to another woman two days after she moved out of the home they once shared with daughter Ocean, but he is also still with the same woman and the two are engaged.
“They’re still together,” Lala said. “You’ll find out soon, they’re engaged.” She also asserts that the engagement had been in place “for a while.”
Now, Randall is firing back through a statement via his rep, claiming that Lala is not only wrong but “lying.”
“Randall is not engaged,” the rep told Page Six. “Anyone who says otherwise is either lying, ill-informed or both.”
Randall has been embattled in a back-and-forth custody battle with both Lala and his ex-wife Ambyr Childers, who took out a since-revoked restraining order against him. Lala and Ambyr have seemingly united forces against their ex as they have been in contact and jointly and publicly disparaged Randall.
Elsewhere during the WWHL interview, Lala said she felt sorry for “the poor thing,” referring to Randall’s girlfriend. She added that Randall’s inner circle and team “talk,” and she knows “a lot of stuff” unbeknownst to Randall.
Later, Andy asked Lala if she thought Randall has proposed with a “big fake ring,” alluding to Lala’s past claims that Randall had given Lala a less-than-stellar engagement ring of her own after proposing in 2018.
Back in 2021, Lala claimed that a jeweler revealed that her 6-carat diamond engagement ring “was most likely brown” before being treated. The same jeweler allegedly said that the diamond wasn’t worth the $150,000 it was originally appraised for and was more likely “in the teens” in terms of value.
“[Randall] knew exactly what he was buying. He knew the diamond he was getting,” Lala told Page Six Style at the time.
Lala has yet to respond to Randall’s denial of engagement.
