Tamra Judge released a text exchange with her daughter in the midst of a school lockdown after “somebody” entered the school with a “weapon,” according to the Real Housewives of Orange County star.
The 55-year-old said the kids are “traumatized,” and one teacher was handing out “hammers” for self-defense.
On an April 13 tweet, Tamra released the terrifying messages.
“We’re being locked in the classes with the lights off,” wrote Sophia, who made it clear that it was “not a drill.”
Tamra responded, “Are you ok?”
“Yes,” answered Sophia. “I’m in a classroom — We’re hiding right now — Just heard police sirens.”
At this point, Tamra asked, “Is there a shooter?”
Sophia wrote, “I don’t know — No one knows.”
After releasing the messages, Tamra posted a video with an update.
“If you just saw my text, I want you to know that everything’s ok and they caught the guy,” shared Tamra. “But there was somebody that came into my daughter’s school today, and they put them in lockdown. He did have a weapon. The kids are traumatized.”

The star continued, “They [were] laying on the floor. They had the students barricade the door with bookshelves … One teacher handed out hammers. Another one had a fire extinguisher, ready to go after somebody.”
“Kids were crying, ‘I don’t want to die,’” said the mother-of-four. “You get the text and you’re so helpless. There’s nothing you can do in this f**king world. I’m so sick of it. I’m so sick of what’s going on. My daughter now doesn’t want to go back to school. It’s her senior year.”
Tamra then pleaded, “It’s got to stop. It’s got to stop.”
