Teresa Giudice apologized to Andy Cohen after he claimed she contradicted herself, concerning the allegation that her husband Luis Ruelas hired a private investigator to find information on the Real Housewives of New Jersey cast.

After Luis suggested this on the show, he and Teresa indicated that it didn’t actually happen. However, Andy soon accused Teresa of making a contradicting statement on Watch What Happens Live.

In an episode of her Namaste B$tches podcast, Teresa addressed Andy’s allegation.

“I think I did great [on WWHL],” said Teresa, via Heavy, “but I did screw up once cause I’d been hearing Andy saying out there that I contradicted myself.”

The OG explained that the question confused her.

Her co-host Melissa Pfeister said Andy had asked, “’Can you defend Louie saying that he hired Bo Dietl to dig up stuff?’”

Teresa recalled, “When he’s asking me ‘Can you defend it,’ I thought he meant like ‘Can you back up your husband by saying that he did not hire a private investigator?’ So I’m like yes! I can defend it. He’s saying I’m contradicting myself, so I was supposed to say no to that?”

Teresa went on, “I got tripped up on that question … I thought that he was saying to me, ‘Can you defend it that he did not call the private investigator on everyone.’ So I was saying yes he did not.”

“I wanna put out there, sorry Andy, I didn’t understand the question correctly,” she added. “I’m not contradicting myself because I didn’t understand the question correctly.”

On the Chicks in the Office podcast, Andy first pointed out the alleged contradiction.

“[Luis] was dodging it at Watch What Happens Live last night and said, ‘No, he just made it up. It came out of thin air,’” said Cohen. “And Teresa contradicted herself, and I’m here to tell you that that was not his story at the reunion. It was far different and we really got into it and it’s a major point of contention.”

After Luis mentioned Dietl on the show, the P.I. told ET it was “bologna” and said he wasn’t hired by Luis to find info on the cast.

RHONJ Reunion Live Viewing – This is also the live viewing thread for part one of the three-part Real Housewives of New Jersey season 13 reunion, which begins tonight at 8/7c on Bravo.
