Andy Cohen Reveals Which Former Housewife Gave Him Unsolicited Parenting Advice and Who Texts Him the Most

While Andy Cohen has been making the press rounds promoting his new book, The Daddy Diaries: The Year I Grew Up, he’s been dropping Housewives gossip left and right. The Bravo host recently revealed an “intense” text exchange between him and Real Housewives of Orange County OG Vicki Gunvalson, and his latest prey is none other than Real Housewives of New York City alums Aviva Drescher and Dorinda Medley.

While appearing on the B**** Sesh podcast in May, Andy told the hosts that he received unsolicited parenting advice out of the blue from Aviva after the RHONY alum thought his four-year-old son, Ben, looked fatigued.

“Aviva, out of nowhere, emailed [me] and said, ‘I’ve been following on Instagram, and it looks like your son isn’t getting enough sleep,’” Andy revealed via Heavy, and he noted that he did not respond to the former reality personality.

Elsewhere in the podcast, Andy also made mention of which Housewife out of all the franchises is in contact with him the most. Though the podcast hosts assumed it would be RHONY alum Jill Zarin, who has been labeled the “thirstiest” Housewife in the past, Andy says the honor actually goes to Dorinda.

“I hear from Dorinda a lot. I heard from Dorinda today. I hear from Dorinda a lot,” he said.

Andy is in contact with and has formed close friendships with many, many of the Housewives throughout the years. Because of all his friendships, his now-iconic baby shower was basically BravoCon 2.0 Baby Edition.

However, not all the cast members have been as quick to get Andy’s digits.

“I would say Potomac and Dallas and Salt Lake have been the slowest to get my number because they’re the newest, so if any of them need it, then they get it. Then they have it,” Andy told supermodel and podcast host Naomi Campbell on No Filter with Naomi during a past interview.

In another segment, Andy stated that he’d “like to think” that he has a good relationship with all of the Housewives past and present, but he is grateful for his late-night talk show, Watch What Happens Live, where he and his guests can talk out their differences.

“I hope that if we’re not [in a good place] … you know the great thing about doing WWHL in terms of my relationships with the women … is that I get to see them. I get to see them while the show is in cycle, and I get to see them one on one,” Andy explained.

“And if they have an issue with something that I’ve said, or something on the show, or something on WWHL, we get to sit down and have a drink and have a conversation about it and work stuff out.”

Watch What Happens Live recently returned from a hiatus with new episodes airing Sunday through Thursday at 10 p.m. EST on Bravo.
