James Kennedy revealed the dog he once shared with ex-fiancée Raquel Leviss is “back home” with him, and he suggested it’s permanent.
Last season on Vanderpump Rules, James expressed his sadness in being unable to see the dog as much as he wanted, and Raquel indicated she wouldn’t be sharing custody.
Raquel’s rep previously opened up about her stay in a mental health facility amid controversy surrounding her affair with castmate Tom Sandoval. The 28-year-old reportedly just left the facility and was negotiating with Bravo over filming the new season.
In a July 20 Instagram post, James revealed that the dog is now back with him, and he insinuated it’s “forever.”
“Look who made his way back home, back into my life,” wrote James in the caption of his post, alongside an image of himself with Graham at Lake Tahoe.
“I’ll take care of you forever and I love you. ❤️” In another photo, James and his new girlfriend Ally Lewber cuddled with the dog on a boat.
Fans soon reacted in the comments of James’ post.
One viewer called it the “rightful outcome to this custody battle.” Another expressed, “Back home where he belongs! Poor baby had to be with the evil Raquel.”
A different user added, “So happy for you!!! She is not capable of taking care of anyone!!! … Don’t ever give him back to her!!!”
Another viewer shared, “Just think poor Graham for what he has been through that poor dog probably had to witness Rachel and scandavol doing the rumpy pumpy in the bedsheets.”
A fourth fan was a bit more kind: “Giving a pup (or any pet) that you love up to someone who can give them a better life is one of the hardest things anyone can do. That’s a big pill for anyone to swallow. Good for Rachel for realizing @itsjameskennedy can give Graham the love and care he needs better than she can right now.”
A fifth user also took up for Raquel: “I am shook by these comments lol. Did Rachel mess up? Yes, but did she deserve to lose her dog? No! All these angels in these comments.”
