Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Amber Marchese claimed production orchestrated the physical altercation between herself and twins Nicole Napolitano and Teresa Aprea. The star also alleged that Melissa Gorga threatened to “ruin” her and said RHONJ was “her show.”

Back in season six, a physical fight broke out at a first responders party after Melissa told the twins that Amber was saying Nicole split up a family. The fight, which involved throwing drinks and fists, resulted in Amber getting a chunk of her hair ripped out.

Speaking on the AllAboutTRH podcast, Amber addressed the physical altercation and alleged the attack was orchestrated by production – who purportedly took Amber’s keys, preventing her from leaving the party until she confronted the twins.

“You know, that’s one thing I regret. I should have [gone] forward with the lawsuit [against Bravo]. I told Jim not to do it, and Jim was like, ‘You’re being stupid. We should absolutely do it.’ I was physically attacked. And the circumstance around that whole thing, how they did it, they, they forced me down there. They would; they took away my keys. They would not let me leave. I was physically attacked. I should have sued,” said Amber.

The alum explained, “They physically took my keys and were not allowed us to leave. They knew I was gonna be physically attacked because we had one security guard that was friends with us whisper in my ear. ‘Go. Just be careful when you get down there. I got your back.’”

“They knew it, and I had to go down there. It’s like; we’re here for a party. We have to do this scene. You know that’s [my] naivety. I should have been like, ‘No, I’m not going down there. That’s absolutely ridiculous.’ It was my first season, I had no clue what I was getting myself. The whole thing was awkward,” she continued.

Amber called the production team “ugly,” and she claimed the network is aware of what production is up to and should therefore not get a “pass.”

“It’s very ugly. Production was ugly. The cast was ugly,” she stated. “Don’t give them a pass. They’re briefed on everything. Don’t give them a pass. They are just as culpable as production.”

She also addressed Melissa’s alleged behavior behind the scenes.

“She told me that if I fuck with her, she’s gonna ruin me. She said it was her show. She goes, this is my show. And, um, you know, you’re lucky. You saw what happened to Jan [DeDolce]. I got her booted. I’ll get you booted, too,” said Amber, via allabouttrh.com.

The star continued, “I remember Jim going to Joe, ‘Let’s have a different approach. Let’s just have some fun. Let’s just redefine what this is. We don’t have to be at odds.’ Like, but no, they, wow. Let me tell you, they did not take it lightly that I was there. They did not like it. I was on her turf, their turf, and they were not gonna have it.”

She went on to say, “They were gonna do everything in their power to make me look stupid, to embarrass my family. Even just like little snide comments that she’d make about my family. Like, as if she knew like my family. She didn’t know my family. She was just very, very upset that I was there.”
