Kim Zolciak is now being sued for an alleged credit card debt totaling $156,080.64. The Don’t Be Tardy star recently reconciled with her husband Kroy Biermann – though he just filed for divorce again on the same day the credit card lawsuit was filed.
Rumors have swirled around the couple’s mysterious ups and downs. Some fans have speculated that the divorce was a publicity stunt, and they pointed to the fact that they both remained in their Georgia mansion throughout the drama, including a call to the police. Others believe the marital saga is real despite the surface of bliss they formerly portrayed to the world.
Per documents obtained by TMZ, SAKS/CAPITAL ONE filed a lawsuit against Kim on the day her husband filed for divorce.
Kim allegedly owes the credit card company $156,080.64 – an amount that includes credit she’s accumulated over multiple months along with her actual charges. The docs claim her limit on the card was $115,000.
According to reports, the on-again-off-again couple owes over a million dollars to the IRS. In June, Kim allegedly was sued over a Target credit card with a balance of $2,482.24.
Before Kroy’s recent divorce filing, a source addressed the couple’s reconciliation.
“They are still living together, but every day is an uphill battle,” said the insider at the time in an interview with Us Weekly. “Those close to them think the reconciliation will be short-lived.”
“There’s simply too much bad blood and hatred toward each other,” the insider added. “There’s a lot of sh-t-talking, and it’s hard to see how this will be resolved amicably. They are also not seeking counseling.”
