Ciara Miller posted a questionable video on TikTok to promote her upcoming stint on Dancing With the Stars, and she quickly faced backlash for doing so.

After posting a video of herself and Brandon Armstrong, 32, who was previously partnered with Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kenya Moore, 55, on the ABC dancing competition, reenacting a scene from Euphoria, the 30-year-old Summer House star was met with fans who described the clip as “horrifying” and “[disturbing].”

“You’re gonna work. You’re not gonna b*tch. You’re not gonna moan. You’re gonna listen to every motherf*cking word that comes out of my mouth,” a woman’s voice said as Brandon was seen pretending to slap Ciara across the face.

“This promo is horrifying I’m sorry, what,” Your Moms Are Watching’s Thea de Sousa wrote with the since-deleted clip on Instagram on September 2.

“You guys. What is this?” she continued. “I’m truly disturbed. Please tell me I’m missing something because this is – (and I hate this word but it fits) – triggering??? Am I going crazy? I love Ciara but – no.”

In the comments section, Thea’s followers agreed they were “really disappointed” as they said the promo was “weird” and an “immediate no.”

“Why do people think that showing violence against women is ok, still?! [I don’t care] that this is from Euphoria, it’s gross to think that this is cute or funny,” a fan stated.

Another said, “It only would’ve worked here IF her dancing pro partner had been another female. It being a guy really gives an entirely different vibe [and] it’s not good.”

“Why does everyone think hitting women is a good promo tool??” asked someone else.

Meanwhile, in an interview with Us Weekly, Ciara admitted, “I’m still a work in progress.”

“We’re figuring it out. I don’t have all the answers all the time … I don’t even know. I feel like we’re still medicated, which is great and we’re moving upwards and onwards,” she explained.

Ciara also shared plans to disprove claims of being lazy.

“I’ve always wanted to be on [DWTS], so I feel like this is, you know, people have called me lazy for some years now … because I love my relationship with the bed, so I feel like this is an opportunity for people to really see if I stand up to the term ‘lazy.’ And I love a challenge,” she declared. “I love nothing more than a challenge, and there’s no better place to do it than Dancing With the Stars.”
