Kenya Moore was featured on Sunday night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, where she reacted to the drama of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Following a slew of drama on episode three of season 14, much of which took place at her daughter Brooklyn‘s third birthday party, Kenya revealed what wasn’t shown of Sheree Whitfield‘s feud with Drew Sidora, offered an update on her relationship with Cynthia Bailey, reacted to the locker rumor about Kandi Burruss, and more.
“You guys cut out a lot,” Kenya shared on the May 15 episode of WWHL. “It got really, really nasty. Someone called someone a ‘witch’ and was talking about a facelift. It was a lot.”
Regarding her drama with Cynthia, which was evident amid the debut season of Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip, Kenya admitted she was unsure of the root of their issue.
“I don’t even know what’s ailing us. But we’re talking,” she confirmed. “She invited me to something the other day so we’re in a better place.”
As for the rumors of a potential romance with her Dancing With the Stars partner, Brandon Armstrong, Kenya said the two of them were not friends with “benefits.”
“He’s like my baby brother. We definitely had great chemistry, but friendship chemistry,” she explained, joking that they “wouldn’t have been able to dance” if something more had been going on.
Moving onto her daughter’s birthday party, Kenya said she thought her controversial cast game would be nothing more than “fun tea.”
“It was supposed to be, ‘Someone sleeps with a teddy bear,’ or ‘Someone drools when they kiss.’ Something simple and silly,” she insisted.
But as RHOA viewers saw, things quickly took a risqué turn as Kandi was accused of committing lewd acts in a locker room, leading one of Kenya’s friends to make an early exit.
“She hasn’t been able to, I think, return my calls,” Kenya admitted as Andy Cohen labeled the woman a “birthday Karen.”
“Yes,” Kenya agreed. “[But] she wasn’t wrong!”
And while it wasn’t revealed who wrote the claim amid the shady game, Kenya suggested the cast has since found out who it was.
“We kinda got to it. It was someone that wrote with an orange marker. And it was only one person there that had an orange marker, I think,” she noted.
Then, after Andy asked if it could have been Marlo, Kenya said, “Maybe.”
At another point of WWHL, Kenya was asked if she believed that Anthony did not work for Sheree or if Sheree didn’t pay her assistant.
“Oh, she wasn’t paying him,” Kenya boldly declared. “I think the thing with Sheree is, if she doesn’t like the work, she won’t pay you. That’s what it is. I think he worked but she didn’t like the work.”
During her own appearance on WWHL earlier this month, Marlo took aim at Kenya by suggesting her castmate was a jealous hater and a “has-been.” In response, Kenya made it clear to viewers that she was not envious of the new peach-holder.
“Jealous of what? We already know I have nothing to be jealous of,” Kenya stated.
She then made a shady diss right back at her co-star.
“A has been? I guess I am a has been. I have been a former Miss USA, a college graduate, a beautiful mother of a daughter that’s great. I’ll take a has-been all day long, honey. Let’s not go to my resume. Let’s check hers. I’d rather be a has-been than a never was,” she proclaimed.
As for her divorce, Kenya said, “I feel like it’s been going on for years. I want it to be over and the holdup is on the other side. Get me free!”
Also on WWHL, Kenya was asked if she saw that Teresa Giudice had recently taken the trip she gifted her.
“I think so, yeah. No, [I didn’t hear from her]. I talk to Teresa all the time [but] she didn’t tell me she took it,” Kenya explained. “She’s always traveling so I don’t know if it was my trip or something else. But I love her. I love them together. They just touch me. I just love their show of affection and how dedicated they are together.”
The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 14 airs Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.
