On the new season of Real Housewives of New York, Jenna has been generous with her ‘gifts,’ though most of the co-stars have happily accepted.
However, in a preview shared by @queensofbravo on Instagram, Sai shaded the fashion designer, suggesting her “intentions” are for the products to be “shared” on social media.
“Unless you give me some of that cheese, honey, I can’t keep promoting you for free,” said Sai in a confessional interview. The influencer went on to say, “A real gift is from the heart. A Jenna Lyons gift is a marketing gift.”
The episode also showed a past clip of Sai accusing Jenna of lying – after the designer claimed there were no more ‘Jenna Lyons’ products in one of the gift bags.
Fans soon reacted in the comments, taking issue with Sai’s stance.
“What is it with Sai and Jenna? Jenna doesn’t share, Jenna gives too many gifts, Jenna wants promotion. Like girl! Leave Jenna alone if you don’t vibe with her,” wrote one user.
Another stated simply, “Sai complains 24/7.” A different user added, “Sai is doing the most. She thinks she’s being funny and relatable, but it’s coming across as spoiled, entitled and pretentious.”
A fourth fan wrote, “Sai is draining. the consistent moaning and smugness ???? It’s like nails on a chalk board. Pretty please Bravo can we only have her for one season.”
One user disagreed and defended the star’s opinion: “Nah, I’m with Sai. It’s thoughtful the first time, it’s Jenna seeking free promotion by the third. And given that Sai does such promotions for a living, I don’t blame her for raising an eyebrow.”
