Jenna Lyons shared why she failed to attend BravoCon with the rest of her Real Housewives of New York castmates amid rumblings she might not return to the show. Plus, Brynn Whitfield suggested Jenna’s “happy” to be elsewhere, and Jessel Taank shaded “sloppy” Heather Gay.
Throughout the latest season, Jenna seemed to put distance between herself and the cast’s drama. At the reunion, Ubah Hassan indicated that her co-stars didn’t initially want Jenna on RHONY.
Speaking with ET, Jenna shared why she couldn’t attend BravoCon with the rest of the cast.
“I had some things to do,” she stated.
The star jokingly added, “I said some really important things to do, like twiddle my thumbs … No, I had an event and I had some other things that I had to do that were personal. And I’m preparing for — I have to leave tonight, I have to be on a flight so I just couldn’t. It didn’t work out.”
The outlet claimed Jenna ‘play[ed] coy’ when asked if she missed being there.
When asked if there were any moments she wished she could do over, Jenna laughed, saying, “How many moments? … No, no, it was fun. It was a lot though. Different than my normal life.”
“Her not being a BravoCon is not any great statement on her relationship to the show or with us,” he said. “We have a great relationship and I hope she comes back. You know, I hope she comes back.”
At the conference, Sai De Silva confirmed that Jenna couldn’t attend due to an event, though Brynn added – perhaps jokingly – that Jenna is actually “in bed with her girlfriend. I got a selfie this morning. She’s very happy.”
“I saw Jenna last night,” added Jessel, via @bravobreakingnews on Instagram. “She’s very happy.”
“Someone who’s sloppy … Heather Gay,” she said, via @queensofbravo on Instagram. “Oh my god, did I say something bad?”
