Teddi Mellencamp reacted to Garcelle Beauvais’ recent diss on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and she also revealed a major health update.

In the latest episode, Teddi went up to Garcelle and joked, “The gnat is back,” which was referring to Garcelle’s diss against Teddi in season 11. But the joke wasn’t taken well, and Garcelle said in a confessional, “Not only is [Mellencamp] annoying, she refers to herself as ‘the gnat.’”

On Teddi’s Two Ts In A Pod podcast, she said Garcelle’s comment was frustrating because Teddi made the gnat joke to “[lighten] the mood” at the solemn event.

“I don’t refer to myself as a gnat. I took what Garcelle called me and chose to have fun. And make a joke of it. Maybe she should try it sometime,” Teddi explained, via Heavy.

Teddi also didn’t appreciate Garcelle “doubl[ing] down” on her diss that Teddi is “annoying.”

“I think unless you are Sutton [Stracke], Garcelle is going to try to [be] shady, but try to make you out to be the bad guy. Like in that moment, I didn’t do anything wrong,” Teddi shared. “I haven’t seen her. I’m trying to lighten the mood. She made that big joke last year in her confessional. So I just was like, ‘Oh the gnat’s back!’ Thinking she’d be like, ‘Oh!’ Give me a hug. And we’d move on. That didn’t happen.”

“Once she became close with Sutton and they wanted to have the narrative that I was annoying or I was boring or I was whatever it was, [Beauvais] really leaned into that. And she hasn’t given me any grace since then,” she continued.

In a January 12 Instagram post, Teddi shared an update on her health after revealing she discovered another melanoma – and would have to get more surgery.

“I got the final report back from my oncologist,” wrote Teddi. “Final report is all good. Some atypical areas, but no melanoma. [I was told] we’ll have to keep a close watch on you, but all good now. I’ll want to see you in about 3 months. Sooner if you have any concerns.”

She also shared a photo of her back after the surgery.

“I am forever grateful to my incredible doctors, nurses, family and friends,” Teddi added. “I absolutely will be diligent with my 3 month checkups. Please be the same with your skin checks.”
