Bethenny Frankel Claims She Was Contacted Over James Kennedy Abuse Allegations, and Topic Was Allegedly “Cut Out” From Vanderpump Rules Reunion

Bethenny Frankel claims sources have contacted her about James Kennedy abuse allegations, and the topic was allegedly “cut out” from a Vanderpump Rules reunion.

Last year, James’ ex Raquel Leviss appeared on Bethenny’s podcast to address her controversial relationship with Tom Sandoval. In the episode, she briefly touched on her past engagement to James.

“There are so many rumblings about [James’] alleged abuse, by so many different people,” said Bethenny on her Just B with Bethenny Frankel podcast in a clip shared by @byewighellodrama on Instagram.

Bethenny said she “hesitated” to air part of her interview with Raquel concerning the topic, and “other people have reached out” to Bethenny.

She pointed out that “selective cancellation” doesn’t have any “consistency,” and she shared that some people who were accused of abuse were “exonerated” because it wasn’t true.

“And their lives are kind of ruined forever,” said Bethenny, who then referenced a Below Deck star who was quickly fired for sexual harassment. “And then there’s a guy who’s very popular and good-looking and charming on Vanderpump Rules who is, you know, a favorite by not only like the people in charge there, but also many of the fans, and so many people have accused him of abuse.”

“If any of this is true…” said Bethenny, “this is a person who’s protected because he’s working on a show that is now part of the realm, that is profitable … It’s just interesting that if someone’s making it rain, they are protected.”

Bethenny suggested they’re perhaps “protect[ing] the good-looking, charming … one with a British accent.”

“One person who’s very connected to the cast called me during the reality reckoning. Two other people directly told me, and then it was allegedly cut out of a reunion, this whole discussion about this because that’s not good for Bravo. It’s not good for business,” said Bethenny. “It’s just f**king crazy.”
