In an extended Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion clip, Kyle Richards revealed why she told husband Mauricio Umansky not to “kiss” her in a certain way in an earlier episode of the season, claimed he was “trying to overly prove” they were okay, and said she can’t “pretend like that.”
During that past scene, Mauricio grabbed Kyle’s face and pulled her in for an audible kiss while cameras rolled. Afterward, Kyle laughingly said, “Don’t kiss me like that.” Mauricio responded, “I can kiss you however I want.”
In Peacock‘s extended version of the reunion, Kyle was asked about her reaction to the kiss.
“I’ll tell you why [I said that],” said Kyle, via @facereality16. “He very much did not want anyone to know we had any issues happening. And because we hadn’t said anything to our daughters, I kept thinking like, ‘Well, I have like six months or whatever till it airs [that] we have to tell them.’ But we were just trying to figure things out still.”
“In that moment, I felt like he was trying to overly prove everything was okay by kissing me,” Kyle added. “And I’m not someone who can pretend like that.”
Because of this, Kyle said she “didn’t want him to grab me and kiss me,” so she told him not to kiss her that way.
