The cameras are rolling on season 16 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta as Porsha Williams‘ divorce from Simon Guobadia keeps getting messier. The two recently traded insults back and forth online and caused a pretty big stir for Housewives fans. Of course, this isn’t the first time the two have traded words on social media, but this time seemed more pointed than before. Not only that, but Porsha also responded to criticism from fans.
This all comes after Porsha filed an emergency order to be able to film RHOA in the marital home. Fans will recall that despite the prenup stating Simon was to vacate the property 30 days from the date of filing the divorce, he has forbidden the production company from showing the home on the show.
Simon and Porsha’s most recent social media spat started when the RHOA star took to Instagram to throw not-so-subliminal shade at Simon and his immigration status.
The post reads, “Happy Wednesday. If a person concealed a criminal past & provided fake identification for a green card, is it still a valid green card in the US?!”

Earlier this year, a report uncovered Simon’s alleged criminal past, which included allegations of past bank and credit card fraud, unauthorized use of a vehicle, and identity fraud.
It wasn’t long before Simon caught wind of the shady post and issued a reply via Instagram.
He posted, “Imma need people who think there are 265 days in a year to stay out of understanding complex US immigration laws.” The post continues, “Above your mediocre mind.”

Simon, seemingly hurt by Porsha’s comments, made the below post. He captioned it, “The knife is feeling especially deep and painful today. Jesus, take the wheel.🫤”
Sadly, this doesn’t even end here. Porsha realized that she was getting criticism from fans online and then started to engage with some of the comments. One Instagram user stated that she should have asked Simon about his immigration status before they got married. Porsha responded to the comment by saying, “I asked and was lied to.”

One person implied she knew about Simon’s status before and said, “I’m beginning to think ur the problem.” Porsha then said she had learned about Simon’s secrets in February, just like everyone else.
Another user chimed in and implied that the marriage was an “arrangement” and that Porsha never loved Simon. She responds and says, “I wish.”
Porsha is still a beloved Housewife, and fans are excited to see her on RHOA season 16. However, it seems the tides are starting to turn, and more people are seeing her as equally the problem as Simon.
