This has been an interesting year for 90 Day Fiancé stars Michael Ilesanmi and Angela Deem. As of late, the two are estranged and she has filed for an annulment from him. Now, it seems he’s fighting back at rumors of him suing the TLC network after it aired the couple’s story.
Fans will recall that the public first got to know Michel and Angela during the second season of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days. The two had quite a bit of drama on the show but still got married in 2020. She then took to social media in February of this year to announce that Michael was missing and to offer a reward. He then announced that he was safe.
According to In Touch Weekly, Michael recently took to his Instagram Stories to say that he is not currently suing anyone. According to the reality TV star, “It has come to my attention that there are false rumors circulating online that I have initiated legal action against TLC and someone. I want to set the record straight: I have not sued anyone. These rumors are entirely unfounded and incorrect.”
Michael goes on to encourage people to “stop spreading misinformation.” According to him, “It is important to verify facts before sharing news that can mislead the public and harm reputations.”
He concludes his message by saying, “Thank you everyone for supporting on all my socials. Your continued support means a lot.”
As mentioned, Angela shared the news that Michael had gone missing earlier this year. However, he later called the police and informed them he had left because he felt unsafe with her. Since then, Angela has said she regrets him coming to America and has since filed for an annulment. According to Intouch Weekly, she made the filing because she feels he “fraudulently induced” her to marry him “for the purpose of gaining legal permanent resident status in the United States.”
