RHOSLC Recap: Bronwyn Defends Her Marriage as Britani Questions It; Angie and Whitney Warn Meredith About Lisa; Plus, Whitney Confronts Meredith About Her Business and the Rumors

Caves and curling and Harleys — oh my! On this episode of The Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City, there seems to be a little bit of everything. Including drama. Rumors are swirling about the legitimacy of Whitney’s business, and Meredith finds herself in hot water. But when Lisa confronts Whitney and Angie, Angie loses her cool. Can they all come together in the end for Trixie’s drag show?

It’s day two in Milwaukee, and although the night before was heated, Bronwyn is hopeful that today will be a fresh start with Lisa and Heather. Whitney has planned a packed day that ends with Trixie’s drag show — the reason they are in this city in the first place.

Meredith checks in with Lisa after what went down last night. Apparently, Angie is warning Meredith to be careful of Lisa. Whitney chimed in to say the same! Naturally, Meredith is going to let Lisa know what went down, and she promises she will not be joining team Whitney and Angie. Lisa is unsure why Meredith is being warned, and she is unhappy that they are trying to f*ck with her friendship.

Heather is feeling torn after hearing these rumors about Whitney’s Prism business. She was hoping that Meredith would fill Whitney in about the Alibaba rip-offs, but clearly, she has not. Heather believes that Whitney needs to know, but she is not about to ruin the trip, especially after gifting Whitney matching Laverne and Shirley sweaters.

When Whitney comes to let Lisa know what is on the daily agenda, Lisa lets her know she will pass on the daytime activities, but she will meet up for dinner. Boom. Lisa gathers up Britani and Meili (Whitney’s bestie — touché!), the B-team — er, I mean, friends of — and they head out for a day of curling. Angie realizes that Lisa would certainly not ask her to come with since they have been rocky and unresolved. Angie explains that she has known Lisa for 15 years, but evidently, this “meaningful” friendship doesn’t mean that much to Lisa.

Whitney puts two and two together and realizes that Lisa would only be avoiding them IF Meredith told her that Whitney and Angie talked about her last night. Meredith admits she spilled right away and reminds them that she promised Lisa to be transparent.

According to Lisa, “Anything is better than hanging out with Whitney,” even if curling is the most sweeping she’s done in years. In the meantime, we get to witness Mary drink beer for the first time, and to our surprise, she LIKES it. Love that she calls it an “upscale beer.”

During a curling break, Britani checks her phone, and Jared, her “boyfriend,” called and texted her. Britani has not processed the Brow Girl situation, and Jared is not allowing her the space. He is calling her bestie instead of his love, he calls it a friendship, not a relationship. Can’t Britani just see the writing on the wall?

Bronwyn lets the ladies know that her husband, Todd, worked in the caves for six months years and years ago. Bronwyn points out that her hubby had a completely different life before she was even born! If that’s not scary enough, the women, minus Heather and Whitney, head over to hear some ghost stories, but not before Mary overshares about the Jeffrey Dahmer stories her father told her…

When Whitney and Heather are alone, Heather lets her know the rumors. According to Meredith, people are talking about the legitimacy of Prism, Whitney’s business. Heather doesn’t mince words and tells Whitney that everyone is talking about the shadiness of Prism. Whitney denies buying her jewelry from Alibaba (it’s called “commerce,” duh), and it’s not like Meredith is in the ocean diving for caviar. Whitney wishes Meredith would stay out of DMs and documents and mind her own business when it comes to Prism. Whitney thinks that Meredith is unsupportive and that she is the source of the rumors — why didn’t she come to Whitney directly to alert her?? Heather begs her not to say anything in the infamous Sprinter van on the way home, but she sits back, ready for anything, now that she has stirred the pot.

The group comes back together (Lisa and the B-team included), and on the way to dinner, Whitney decides to unleash. She claims it has been an amazing trip — until she found out that everyone is talking about her business. Meredith jumps in and states that she told Heather that she was concerned for Whitney’s business. Meredith claims she didn’t tell her about the rumors since Whitney never picked up the phone to ask how to start a business. Whitney wants to know why Meredith didn’t come to her directly, and I am with you, Mary — this is some petty stuff.

Whitney hopes they can all put a pin in their issues and enjoy dining in the Harley Davidson Museum. We hear some history about bikes, and yes, Bronwyn, it’s funny that it “took the Harley Davidson Museum to bring out the classy side” of this group. When they sit down for dinner, Whitney gifts the ladies some (Alibaba) jewels. And she also evidently takes the pin out to unleash again. She feels like if Meredith truly cared, she should have picked up the phone and called her.

Lisa jumps in to tell Whitney that she is making this something more than it needs to be, defending Meredith. Whitney is mad that they were gossiping about her, but Lisa points out that Whitney did the same thing to her. Lisa doesn’t need Whitney going to Meredith to warn her about friendships. When Whitney states she felt steamrolled, Lisa is over it. She doesn’t appreciate Whitney and Angie meddling in her friendship with Meredith.

But Angie feels like Lisa doesn’t like that she is doing her own thing now. Angie stands up with her finger in Lisa’s face. For dramatic purposes, Angie even kicks over the chair. Lisa claims that Angie has not been a good friend to her lately, but Angie calls BS. Angie is ready to stand on her own. Lisa points out that every time Angie is done with their phone conversation, Angie claims her daughter is calling so she can hang up on Lisa. Angie is aghast as she has taken time away to be there for Lisa, but her number one goal in life is to be a present mother. That was a low blow, Lisa.

To change the subject, Britani calls for attention, and she lets everyone know that after having (yet another) epiphany, she has broken up with Jared. But, like really, who cares? Bronwyn wonders if Britani only likes Jared because he is an Osmond, but when Bronwyn pushes too far, Britani pushes back and states that Bronwyn should probably worry about HER marriage. Britani outright asks if Bronwyn was only interested in her husband for his money, considering he is 26 years older than her.

Britani is not making any friends when she asks Bronwyn if she is attracted to her husband. Bronwyn goes on to share that if she divorced Todd, she wouldn’t take him to the cleaners, which is why they don’t have a prenup. Gasp! Whitney feels this in her soul, since she, too, has been called a gold digger.

The night is not even over yet — there is still a drag show! Bronwyn changes into a hot dog costume…I mean, couture. What. A. Choice. The ladies pile out of the van in their outfits and they head inside with Trixie. Whitney talks about how she has always been fascinated with drag shows and explains how they bring a community together. There’s a dance-off with the Housewives that is cringeworthy, but at least everyone is laughing. Just no one bring up Alibaba OR the Osmonds…
