RHOBH's Denise Richards Wants Aaron Phypers' Mom to Testify About His Alleged "Abuse" Amid Divorce

Denise Richards is calling Aaron Phypers’ 84-year-old mother, Patricia Phypers, to testify about his alleged abuse as she fights to make the temporary restraining order she has against him permanent.

Ahead of a court hearing next week, the 54-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star submitted a witness list that included Patricia and three other unidentified witnesses, two of whom she claims have knowledge about how Aaron, 52, supposedly treated her behind closed doors.

According to a report from Us Weekly on September 3, Denise stated that Patricia would “testify regarding communications” she had with Denise “regarding abuse perpetrated on [Richards] by [Aaron]” for about an hour.

Denise also said she would be calling Aaron to the stand for four hours, noting that she would testify to “all facts pertaining to domestic violence perpetrated by [Aaron].”

As for the witnesses, whose names were redacted for privacy, they are expected to testify for a total of four hours.

In court documents filed days after Aaron filed for divorce, Denise made her abuse allegations against Aaron in her request for a TRO.

“Throughout our relationship, Aaron would frequently violently choke me, violently squeeze my head with both hands, tightly squeeze my arms, violently slap me in my face and head, aggressively slam my head into the bathroom towel rack, threaten to kill me, hold me down with his knee on my back to the point where I would have to plead with him to get off me so that he would not kill me and hack into my laptop and phone and download all of my text messages,” she alleged.

In response, Aaron denied wrongdoing as he labeled his estranged wife a “coward.”

“[Her] physical abuse allegations are lies … I have never physically or emotionally abused Denise — or anyone,” he insisted. “These accusations are completely false and deeply hurtful. Denise and I, like many couples, have faced our share of challenges, but any suggestion of abuse is categorically untrue. I have always tried to approach our marriage with love, patience, and respect. I ask for privacy as we navigate personal matters, and I hope that the public and media will refrain from spreading harmful and baseless claims.”

In recent court documents, Denise has attempted to get Aaron and his family, including Patricia, out of a home she owns after learning she was facing eviction proceedings due to Aaron’s failure to pay rent, and she has also accused him of “trashing” the property.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 15 is currently in production and expected to begin airing on Bravo sometime later this year or early next year.
