Lisa Hochstein may have finally unfollowed Larsa Pippen‘s ex-boyfriend, Marcus Jordan, but the issues in their relationship appear to be far from over.
Although both Real Housewives of Miami cast members insisted they wanted to “move on” after Thursday’s episode of the show, Larsa, 51, went on to say that Lisa, 43, was still “bashing” her publicly as she expressed confusion about why she remained friends with Marcus, 34. Lisa then clapped back by accusing Larsa of spreading lies about her and explaining why she unfollowed her on Instagram.
“It’s just hard being in a place of not being happy with someone you used to be so close with. I just kind of was over it. I’m like, I can’t fight with her anymore, I can’t show her that I’m hurt anymore. I think it’s like, ‘This is it. I don’t wanna argue with you anymore, I just wanna co-exist with you,'” Larsa said of her feelings going into the cast cruise on the September 11 episode of the RHOM: After Show.
Although Lisa had unfollowed Marcus at that point and told Larsa she missed their friendship, Larsa still wondered why their feud was so drawn out.
“I was like, ‘Well, I miss our friendship too,’ but like, this could’ve been so easily been solved had she just said all this stuff to me months before,” she noted. “What is her goal? For me, I just want to move on, move past it … [But] she’s still bashing me and she’s saying things that are hurtful.”
According to Larsa, when she does press, she doesn’t target Lisa’s past behavior. Instead, she explains the hurt she felt amid her messy split from Marcus.
“I really needed my friends to be there for me, and that’s kinda how I feel. I kinda summed it up, and I buttoned it up with that. And I feel like, for her, she’s like, ‘Oh, Larsa’s a liar.’ Like, she’s saying all these mean things about me,” Larsa explained.
As for where they stand today, Larsa said she and Lisa are cordial before wondering why it took Lisa so long to unfollow her ex.
“How can you be friends with someone that’s saying the meanest things about me? Like, to me, that’s just like, you’re not my friend,” she reasoned.
In her own After Show segment, Lisa admitted to being “exhausted” by their ongoing drama.
“We were all over it … I wanted to move forward and just move on,” she began. “[And] Larsa and I, we were on better terms. We were getting there … until I found out everything that she was saying behind my back — all of the nasty garbage that was coming out of her mouth.”
Reflecting on Larsa’s text message drama with her boyfriend, Jody Glidden, Lisa accused Larsa of “lies and manipulation” as she targeted “the tearing down of Jody and making things out of nothing, literally out of nothing, and, like, just painting Jody and myself as people we’re not.”
Lisa then confessed, “I never fully trusted her,” as she accused Larsa of throwing around the phrase “best friend” too loosely.
“It doesn’t hold the same weight. It doesn’t feel as special … [She changes] friends like underwear. Everyone’s her best friend,” she reasoned.
Although Lisa additionally shared that she misses the “good times” she and Larsa had, she confirmed she’s no longer following her on Instagram.
“We’re at the point where she unfollowed me because of whatever. And then, I returned the favor and I unfollowed her back because I noticed she unfollowed me,” she explained.
The Real Housewives of Miami season seven airs Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
