Whitney Rose opened up about her “failed” business venture with husband Justin Rose during an appearance over the weekend.
After a financial fallout was teased in a press release for season six of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, the 38-year-old spoke of the “devastating misstep” she made with Justin, 54, while also offering an update on their previously-strained marriage and admitted that there are some moments from filming that she hopes won’t make it to air.
“We tried to do a venture together and unfortunately, it failed,” Whitney revealed to USA Today. “Like in any business, you have ups and downs, and I share what’s really going on in my life. It’s hard, but I share it all, and it’s actually, from what I’ve seen so far, it’s beautiful to watch.”
Although Whitney didn’t say which venture she was referring to, it was revealed earlier this year that Wild Rose Beauty had been rebranded and would be sold exclusively by Sōl People. Then, a short time later, Whitney shared that she was “no longer [a part]” of Sōl People and that Wild Rose Beauty was “not done.”
As for how she and Justin have been doing amid the financial turmoil, Whitney declared, “We’re good. We’re working through it. [I’m] still married.”
Looking ahead to season six, Whitney said she “always” has anxiety watching the show play out.
“I think that this season, though, I was so authentic, I think it’s the most authentic I’ve ever been, and I keep it real always. So that says a lot. So for me it’s more of a cathartic situation,” she explained.
“But there are some moments that I’m like, ‘Oh no, I hope that hits the editing floor. I don’t want to see that. I don’t want to relive that.’ But we’ll see,” she added.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season six premieres on Tuesday, September 16, at 8/7c on Bravo.
