RHONJ’s Gia Giudice Addresses Teresa and Luis Spinoff Rumors, How Special Forces Prompted Teresa’s Hopes to End Feud With Joe and Melissa, & Teases Next Gen NYC Season 2

Gia Giudice addressed swirling rumors about Teresa Giudice and Luis Ruelas leaving The Real Housewives of New Jersey for their own spinoff while attending an iHeartRadio event over the weekend.

As she also looked ahead to the potential second season of Next Gen NYC, Gia, 24, admitted that her mother “deserves” her own show and revealed how Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test led Teresa, 53, to reconsider her feud with Joe, 50, and Melissa Gorga, 46.

“My mom deserves it. She’s been on Bravo for a long time,” Gia said when asked about her mom’s alleged spinoff during a September 20 interview with Entertainment Tonight, adding that she didn’t “know anything” about it.

While Teresa’s change of heart about Joe and Melissa came as a shock to many, Gia explained that her mother experienced “growth” and learned how to let go during production on Special Forces.

Special Forces really was so much about self-growth, overcoming your fears, and really just letting go … And there’s a lot of deep conversations that my mom and I have that I’m sure you guys will see on Special Forces,” she shared. “As you get older, you get tired. She wants to let go of the hate. She wants to let go of the anger … It’s not fun. It weighs heavy. And I think that’s all she’s saying. No one’s saying they need to be best friends.”

Looking to the future, Gia told her family, “Just co-exist. Be in the same room. Just be cordial and be mature. Move on. No one wants to see this anymore. It’s honestly so petty. Just be an adult and move on.”

As for Next Gen NYC season two, which has yet to be confirmed by Bravo, Gia said she hopes to be more authentic.

“After watching season one, I did a lot of self-reflection and growth within myself … and I’m just excited, if we get a season two, I’m just excited to really let the viewers in,” she stated. “I feel like season one, I was a little nervous and I was a little shielded and blocked off and kind of just giving, like, that outer surface level of Gia, but I’m excited to show people more about me and in-depth into my life.”

As she awaits the official go-ahead, Gia is preparing to move to Jersey City, New Jersey, which is across the Hudson from New York City, where she works.

“It’s the perfect location for me. My boyfriend’s still in Jersey. My family’s still in Jersey, but my work is in New York. So I have the best of both worlds,” she explained. “The commute is so easy. So I’m excited for that. I’m excited for the viewers to see me move, do it on my own, and have a place by myself and really get to know Gia on a deeper level.”

Also during the interview, Gia named Maria Georgas, Tate Madden, and Kit Keenan as her favorite podcast guests thus far, as she revealed Khloe Kardashian, 41, as her dream guest and said she’d love to have an “Alex Cooper moment” and appear on her Call Me Daddy podcast.
