Lisa Barlow‘s return to The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City has caused a stir — and not just because of her heated confrontation with Bronwyn Newport.
After Lisa, 50, got reacclimated with the group following her absence from the camping trip featured on the premiere episode last week, fans accused her of looking a bit different, with some suspecting she had a black eye, others suggesting that she may have gotten work done before filming began, and more giving a nod to a potential eyelash issue.
“Did anyone else notice something off about Lisa’s make-up in this confessional? I’m not sure if it was the heavy dark make-up but it looked unbalanced like she had a black eye?” The Christina Chronicles wrote in the caption of a September 24 post on Instagram, including an image of Lisa in a season six confessional.
Following the sharing of the image, RHOSLC viewers weighed in, with one suggesting that Lisa’s makeup artist “did her dirty.”
“I paused it a few times and her eye shadow was totally darker on that one eye,” they shared.
Another said they “wondered if she had some pre season work done” because “something’s different.”
“It was her eyelash [and] lash glue.. That’s why she was also blinking excessively,” posed a third.
Others said they “couldn’t stop looking at her eye” and described her as looking “so different in general this season.”
Another person suggested that something was neurologically wrong.
“She looks very different this season I was wondering what’s really going on in her personal life. It looks like she may be having some neurological issues,” they wrote.
But someone else said the issue was actually with Lisa’s eyelash, which was “put on wonky on her left eye.”
“She also had some laser resurfacing done and her hairline looks unnaturally rounded and dark. Made her forehead look huge. There is no way that this is the same glam squad as before,” they continued.
“People are saying her lash was coming off but I don’t think that was it. Definitely something going on though,” said another IG user.
Meanwhile, someone else said they felt Lisa’s glam team was “mad at her.”
“And I’m also curious why production, who would’ve been in the room with her while filming this confessional, didn’t say anything and let her film like that,” they added.
