Lala Kent is clapping back at claims that Scheana Shay made on her podcast on Friday.
Amid their ongoing feud, which began after Scheana, 40, grew upset at Lala, 35, over her lack of public support for her book, My Good Side, Lala posted an Instagram Story in which she reacted to Scheana accusing her of cussing her out in front of Ocean as she described their drama as “f*cking insufferable” and alleged that Scheana had “lied” about the incident.
“The only thing I’m gonna address about Scheana’s Scheaning podcast, f*cking insufferable, is when she lied,” Lala began in her October 3 post.
“She talks about a moment that we had that somewhat had to do with our kids. She claims I cussed her out in front of my kid,” she explained.
But according to Lala, Ocean, 4, “wasn’t in [her] car” at the time.
Looking back at the spat in question, Lala said that she had called Scheana to address a prior incident between them.
“I was annoyed that her lack of self-awareness now entered my child’s world, so I tried to lift my kid’s spirits by taking her to go get sushi,” she recalled. “I parked the car. I got out of the car, and before I got Ocean out, I called Scheana and basically said, ‘You pull that sh*t again, I’ll f*ck your whole world up.’ And then I think she said, ‘F*ck you b*tch,’ then we hung up on each other, I got my kid out and we ate sushi.”
“I did not cuss her out in front of my kid. Sounds like she cussed me out in front of her kid, though,” Lala concluded.
Lala’s statement came just hours after the latest episode of Scheana’s podcast, Scheananigans, went live.
On the episode, Scheana told listeners that Lala “called me at a time when my kid was in the car, her kid was in the car, screaming and yelling at me, cussing over a playdate being overheard.”
“It was just like, ‘You couldn’t give me some grace. You know there’s no malicious intent, especially when it comes to the kids,’” she stated.
