Denise Richards‘ estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, is facing years behind bars after being hit with four felony charges related to his alleged abuse against her following his courthouse arrest last Friday.
As Aaron, 53, demands he be given half of the 54-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star’s OnlyFans earnings, claiming he was the one who took the photographs, a new report has confirmed that he’s facing a slew of charges, including two felony counts of injuring a spouse and two felony counts of dissuading a witness by force or threat, that carry time.
According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly on October 20, the Deputy District Attorney dealt Aaron with the charges on October 17. Three of the charges stemmed from an alleged incident on January 17, 2022, and another was related to a reported encounter on May 3, 2022.
As Aaron heads for an arraignment on December 19, it has been revealed that each felony count of injury to a spouse holds a sentence of up to four years, meaning he could be met with an eight-year sentence if he’s found guilty.
After Aaron was released from custody after posting a $200,000 bond, his attorney gave a statement.
“We can confirm that Aaron Phypers was, in fact, arrested near the end of the family law court day on October 17, 2025, and was later released on bail,” it read.
“We have not seen the criminal complaint, but we believe that it is most likely based upon some of the same false accusations that Denise Richards has brought against Mr. Phypers in the family law domestic violence proceeding, which she claims occurred nearly four years ago,” the statement continued. “If so, we expect that the evidence will demonstrate Mr. Phypers’ innocence and that he will be acquitted.”
In another report shared by TMZ on October 17, it was noted that Aaron had requested half of the money Denise earns on OnlyFans — a reported $200,000 to $300,000 per month — in court documents, suggesting that he is entitled to half since he took the pics.
Aaron also said that after Denise cut him off from her accounts, he is broke and needs the funds to pay his rent and utilities.
