Season 15 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is expected to premiere in the coming months. Now, longtime cast member Erika Jayne has announced that she’s stepping behind the turntables to resume her DJ career. She even has a gig lined up.
As fans know, Erika has been pursuing music for quite some time. Not only has she released multiple pop singles and music videos, but she also performs periodically.
Erika took to Instagram to announce the next phase of her music career on October 22. She said, “I’m so thrilled to announce that I will be making my first appearance back behind the decks for the Saturday night @findyourgps party at Palm Springs Pride.”
She continued, “Thank you so much for having me- So excited! ✨@paulnichollsent @justintdavid.” Included with the post is a flyer for the event, featuring a photo of Erika wearing red over-the-ear headphones. She will be going by DJ Pretty Mess for the event, and seemingly, for upcoming DJing events.
Erika used a separate post to discuss her love for music and DJing. The post included multiple photos of her DJing over the years.
She said, “Music has always been my constant — my first love, my escape, my heartbeat. From performing as a singer, dancer, and actress growing up, to legendary nights in New York City in the late ’80s, crate-digging for vinyls and losing myself in the underground club scene — that’s where the spark truly began.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star continued, “Years later, I created Erika Jayne, took my own music to stages across the globe— from clubs & festivals all around the world to the Las Vegas Strip for my very own residency— and lived every beat of it.”
She added, “In 2018, I stepped behind the decks officially for the first time at Coachella for Jeremy Scott x Moschino, spinning alongside icons like Diplo and A-Trak. The following year, I headlined my own party back in the desert for Coachella, bringing my ShoeDazzle collaboration into a full fantasy event— and it reignited something inside me.”
She continued discussing her musical trajectory, and she concluded by saying, “Six years later, that spark is burning bright again. I’m back at the decks… and back to where it all started. Introducing DJ Pretty Mess — fueled by the same love for music that’s always been in my soul. @djprettymess.”
Of course, Erika isn’t the only Real Housewives star to take a turn behind the decks, as Meredith Marks is also a DJ and is going on a tour this year.
Erika’s career update comes at a time when her legal troubles continue to mount. She recently lost the SLAPP appeal in an $18 million lawsuit against her by a designer. At the same time, she’s continuing ongoing negotiations in the $25 million lawsuit filed against her by Tom Girardi‘s bankruptcy trustee, which is expected to go to trial on February 10, 2026.
