Shannon Beador offered an update on her relationship with Katie Ginella while appearing on Nick Viall‘s podcast on Tuesday.
As she reflected on Katie’s secret recording, sharing why she was “so hurt” by the violation and admitting to “overreacting,” the 61-year-old Real Housewives of Orange County star spoke of the allegedly “liked” posts from Gretchen Rossi, 47, and suggested Tamra Judge, 58, was to blame for the “dark” moments of season 19.
“As a housewife, I’m gonna say, ‘Never say never,'” Shannon revealed of a future friendship with Katie, 41, on the November 4 episode of The Viall Files. “We did have some looks with each other at the reunion, cuz it’s a doozie. But, you know, I haven’t spoke to her.”
While Shannon admitted to “overreacting” to the recording Katie took of her in an alleged meltdown, she said that the betrayal was major.
“I immediately apologized for me overreacting … [But] I felt very, very violated,” she explained, adding that Katie’s explanation of what happened was “not accurate.”
“It’s not true at all. Nobody knew that I was upset that day. I did my job. Nothing was delayed. Putting a false story out there is frustrating for me. [And] I was very close to Katie when it happened,” she continued. “We had just came back from London four days earlier, and I had left that trip early. I was spent and very down at that time, and so to know that that happened four days after, you know, she was giving me, basically, an enema in London … She was standing outside the door. It is [trust]. So that’s why I felt so hurt.”
Shannon also felt that there were “a lot of inconsistencies” with Katie, but she denied that the cast refused to film with her.
“Not one of us, to my knowledge, said, ‘I’m not filming with her,’” she stated. “This was no concerted group, ‘Let’s ban her,’ at all.”

As for the screenshots that seemingly showed Gretchen “liking” a series of controversial posts, including anti-abortion rights statements and homophobic claims, Shannon said, “This is not the Gretchen that we know. This doesn’t make sense.”
Teasing the upcoming reunion, Shannon confirmed “topics will be discussed,” and she admitted that if the posts were confirmed to be true, it would “absolutely” be hard to move forward with Gretchen.
“I think I say in the finale, most of my friends are from the LGBTQ+ community. So I can’t be close to someone that would do that. But again, you know, you’ll have to watch at the reunion and see. Is Gretchen capable of doing this?” she wondered.

Also on the podcast, Shannon said that while Tamra has accused her of holding a grudge, it’s actually Tamra who is the grudge-holder.
“Let’s look at where I was last season to where I am this season: I’m filming with you. I am doing things alone with you. I laugh with you. But Tamra’s going to walk around every scene that we were in, ‘I got a video. I got a screenshot. I got a handout for you.’ I mean, she had handouts for us at our cake party. It’s like, ‘I’m sorry I didn’t bring my evidence binder with me today,'” she shared.
According to Shannon, with Tamra, “There’s just a lot of pre-calculated type of things.”
“This is me getting a little bit nasty, but let’s look at three of the kind of dark, dramatic moments of the season: Shanon was videotaped without her knowledge. Gretchen is telling people that she was [roofied]. And three, Gretchen is liking this text string. Who is the one that brought each one of those topics to the show?” she asked. “And let’s not forget that she knew about all of them for quite some time. She held them in her back pocket, and she was the one that got to decide the timing, because in two nights, we’re gonna expose a text string that may or may not be authentic.”
