Tamra Judge and Vicki Gunvalson have ended their feud.

Following a years-long estrangement, which saw the breakup of their former girls group, Tres Amigas, with Shannon Beador, 61, the Real Housewives of Orange County stars are starting fresh — and it’s primarily because of Teddi Mellencamp, 44.

“We’ve had a lot of ups and downs in our 20 years. I always say we’re like sisters,” Tamra, 58, explained to Us Weekly. “It’s that love-hate relationship all the time. I’m talking sisterly love, like, you have little arguments. And then, of course, being on a show together, there’s always ups and downs — especially the type of show that we were on together.”

Although many unkind things were said between them, Tamra said she was ultimately encouraged to make amends with Vicki, 63, after seeing how she supported her Two T’s in a Pod podcast cohost amid her battle with brain and lung cancer.

“When Vicki reached out to Teddi and she sent her a nice gift, I was like, ‘Vicki’s got a good heart,’” Tamra said. “She knows what it’s like when it comes to illness and things like that.”

After going years without having a real conversation, Tamra and Vicki met up in person for a few hours-long conversation.

“I don’t think either one of us apologized. We are who we are,” Vicki admitted. “I just have a different viewpoint on the show, and it’s a strong viewpoint. I can’t do toxic. I told Tamra yesterday, ‘You guys are going into a deep, dark hole. I hate it.’”

“Vicki and I don’t sit there and talk about the show,” Tamra agreed. “We talk about our kids, and she updated me on [her daughter] Briana and her son [Michael] and where they’ve moved to. Her relationship, my relationship — that kind of stuff.”

Looking back on their reconcilation, Vicki said it “felt good” to be back with Tamra.

“I don’t have any conflict with friends or relationships. If I do, I try to fix them. And, yeah, I’m a fixer. It was weighing on me that Tamra and I hadn’t met,” she explained. “I will fight for peace. I told Tamra that yesterday. Lord knows my life has been bumpy as heck.”

As for how they believed fans would react, Tamra and Vicki suspected they would be excited. That said, they were also preparing themselves for criticism.

“I look at some of my other friends, like, ‘Oh my god, I can’t believe that you guys made up and why and what happened,’ and I don’t care,” Vicki said. “This is the difference.”

“It’s nobody’s business. Honestly, it’s nobody’s business,” added Tamra.

Part two of The Real Housewives of Orange County season 19 reunion airs next Thursday, November 13, at 8/7c on Bravo.
