The Vanderpump Rules special, “Raise Your Glass to 11 Seasons,” aired on Bravo on Tuesday night, and in it were several never-before-seen moments.
In addition to the audition tapes of Stassi Schroeder, 37, and Jax Taylor, 46, and Andy Cohen‘s reveal of what the series, which premiered in January 2013, was nearly named, fans got a look at Kristen Doute‘s troubled relationship with Tom Sandoval, 43, whom she offered a cryptic warning about the “truth” amid season three.
“Kristen, why would you hit up [Ariana Madix]’s ex-boyfriend?” Tom asked in one unseen moment.
As Pump Rules fans will recall, Kristen, 42, and Tom endured a messy split after Kristen found a photo booth strip of him and Ariana, 40, and began to suspect a romance between them.
While Tom and Ariana denied that they began a relationship when he was still dating Kristen, they ultimately confirmed their romance, which further fueled Kristen’s suspicions.
“He hit me up, I didn’t hit him up. He wanted to know if you guys were together when they were together, and I said, ‘I don’t know the timeline of her relationship with him,’” Kristen continued in the scene, which was filmed at SUR, where they were both working at the time. “This really has nothing to do with you if I talk to him … What I do isn’t your business anymore.”
“You’re the one going out of your way to try and sabotage my happiness,” Tom fired back.
Although Kristen admitted in a confessional that she was “guilty as charged,” she added that she only wanted to see Tom fall due to his alleged cheating with Ariana.
“Do I want to sabotage Tom and Ariana’s relationship? The fact is, he cheated on me for three years, and at this point, I want Tom and Ariana to fall apart,” she reasoned.
Then, back in the scene, she warned Tom, who was ultimately exposed for a months-long affair with Rachel “Raquel” Leviss, 30, “We both know the truth always comes out. Trust me.”
At another moment of the Pump Rules special, each cast member’s audition tapes were seen. And in Stassi’s, she was shockingly seen revealing that she was “sure” that Jax was her “soulmate.”
“This sounds so corny but I feel like we are soulmates,” Stassi told producers, as reported by Us Weekly on November 25. “I could not imagine not being with him every single day.”
Stassi, who had been dating Jax for just over a year, went on to say that she had had “zero doubt” that he was The One.
“I am sure that he’s The One,” she insisted. “I’m positive.”
As for Jax’s tape, he was a bit less complimentary.
“She likes taking my wardrobe and throwing it out the window. She’s taking my computer and chucking it out the window,” he alleged. “She takes my phone, chucks it out the window. She has all my passwords for everything.”
“But I kind of love it — in a weird way,” he added.
Another November 25 report from Bravo’s The Daily Dish revealed Andy’s proclamation about the near-title of Pump Rules.
“Here’s a production secret fans don’t know: The title Vanderpump Rules wasn’t chosen until after filming for season 1 had wrapped,” he shared. “An alternate title that the crew loved was Just The Tip. Can you imagine? This cast has never stopped at ‘just the tip’ of anything.”
Vanderpump Rules season 12 premieres on Tuesday, December 2, at 9/8c on Bravo.
