Brandi Glanville finally has a diagnosis for what’s behind her facial disfigurement.
Following a two-and-a-half-year health crisis, which has cost her over $100,000, the 53-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum revealed that while she has a “long road ahead” of her, she’s “thrilled” to have finally found out what is wrong.
“I do finally have a diagnosis, and I will be sharing that soon. I have a long road ahead of me to get fully better, but I finally have an answer, so I’m just thrilled,” Brandi revealed to TMZ, via a December 5 report.
According to Brandi, the past couple of years have been “low.”
“I’ve turned into an introvert. Leaving my house, I get the worst anxiety because I’ve been in my house for two years … [It’s been] two and a half years [since it started],” she explained, adding that she received her diagnosis “yesterday.”
While Brandi confirmed that she’d been told how to prevent further symptoms, she noted that there are “multiple things happening” with her health.
“It’s gonna be a long road ahead of me but I called my mom today and she literally cried, because sometimes I sit down and I can’t go up, and like it’s so scary. And I just was like, I don’t want to live this life,” she shared.
Also speaking to TMZ, Brandi opened up about her bout with suicidal thoughts.
“I had those thoughts, which were really frightening because I’ve never been like that. I’m on an antidepressant, and it helps, but I’ve never thought of like, not wanting to be here,” she stated.
Brandi Glanville appeared on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills seasons two through five and has made a handful of guest appearances in the years since.
