Kyle Richards recently opened up about her strained relationship with Dorit Kemsley.

As a sneak peek at Thursday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills featured her and Mauricio Umansky, 55, discussing his “ho era” and their dating lives, Kyle, 56, suspected Dorit, 49, was taking out her divorce and custody drama with Paul “PK” Kemsley, 58, on her, explained what she meant about Sutton Stracke, 54, being “different” on the show, and reflected on Amanda Francesrough start with the women.

“It started out very hopeful, which was great because I care about [Dorit] and I missed our friendship,” Kyle explained during a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, via Bye Wig Hello Drama on Instagram. “She’s obviously going through a lot.”

According to Kyle, she and Dorit experienced an Amsterdam-level blowout during one of their cast trips.

“Things definitely come to, I want to say blows, and [we’re] not in a great place now, if I’m being honest,” she shared.

As for Dorit’s suggestion that she was no longer “taking it” from her, Kyle said she never felt like she treated Dorit like her punching bag.

“I never felt Dorit was taking punches like a little sitting duck, ever. I think that’s just something she just said, and she’s sticking with it. And just because she said it doesn’t make it true,” Kyle noted. “I am hopeful we’ll get to a [good] place again. And perhaps when she’s not going through what she’s going through. I think that’s clouding her maybe, view of the situation.”

After being asked if Dorit was taking things out on her due to her drama with PK, Kyle confirmed, “I absolutely feel that.”

Moving on to her comment about seeing a different Sutton off-camera, Kyle described the Sutton she knows as someone who is “very supportive, loving and sensitive, [and] very fun and funny.”

“I’ve shared a lot with Sutton, and she shares a lot with me. We will talk on the phone for an hour, hour and a half. Just very open, completely safe, never thinking we can’t trust one another. So when she has these moments, I think, that’s just not the Sutton that I know, and that’s why I get very frustrated with her,” she explained.

As for why she believes Sutton acts differently when the cameras are rolling, Kyle said her co-star may simply be getting caught up in the moment or having other cast members in her ear.

“For me, in these 15 years, what I say on camera is what I’m gonna say off camera. So whenever someone doesn’t do that, my little antennas go off and I’m like, ‘Why would this person be doing that to me, and who’s the real person? Who am I to trust here?’” she shared.

Regarding her ties to Amanda, Kyle said the newbie purchased her former home in Bel Air.

“I didn’t know her at all. She had posted a story on her Instagram and tagged me, saying, ‘Please, can you guys all leave me alone? This is my home now. I can do what I want with it.’ And I saw that people were actually harassing Amanda for posting a video of her with her husband and kids, like, taking a hammer to the floors and smashing them,” Kyle recalled. “People were attached to the house and had some sort of affection for it because of the show, so I had to put on my story, ‘Please let her be. This is their home now. They’re able to do what they want with it.’ So that’s how I ended up meeting her.”

Kyle then spoke of her castmates’ negative reactions to Amanda.

“I think it was a very bumpy entry into this group for her, definitely, and because I sort of knew her, she leaned on me more. I could sense the reaction [to] some of the people, so I felt, you know, kind of took her under my wing type of thing,” Kyle revealed. “There’s a lot of clashing that goes on right out of the gate, for sure … It’s not smooth.”

Meanwhile, in a sneak peek at the December 11 episode of RHOBH, shared by Bye Wig Hello Drama on Instagram, Kyle confronted Mauricio about the latest round of PDA pics of him and another woman.

“[Did the] girls tease you at all about the photos that came out?” she asked.

“They told me that I’m in my ho stage,” Mauricio replied.

“Well, you are in your ho era. The shoe fits,” Kyle confirmed as she was questioned by her estranged spouse about her own dating life.

“I’m single. I’m single … I haven’t gone on any dates. You know that I would not be in a situation like you, sorry to say,” Kyle explained.

Then, when Mauricio suggested she could “get it going on” with “the passion,” Kyle interjected.

“Can you shut up?” she requested. “When you’re saying that, you’re also referencing yourself, and I don’t need to hear about that.”

Later, in a confessional, Kyle confirmed she’d been on dates since she and Mauricio separated, but she noted that she can “be private and discreet, unlike Mau.”

“We don’t need to see that of each other. Our kids don’t need to see it. I don’t feel the need to parade around, showing it off to everyone,” she stated.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 15 airs Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
