Vanderpump Rules is reportedly facing cancellation after just two episodes of season 12.
According to a new report, the rebooted series has captured low ratings and “failed to deliver” a dramatic show that fans could appreciate with its new cast, which includes Natalie Maguire, Demyana Selem, Shayne Davis, Marcus Johnson, Audrey Lingle, Angelica Jensen, Kim Suarez, Venus Binkley, Jason Cohen, and Chris Hahn.
“Bravo execs are struggling with the reboot. First of all, they don’t find the show to be as good, that’s the biggest issue. The cast is not landing with the audience like the network thought before they filmed, and this big revival turned out to be a letdown. They had big plans and ultimately couldn’t deliver,” a source told The U.S. Sun on December 9. “The numbers for premiere week ratings are still coming in, and it’s still early, but based on early numbers, the lack of audience reaction, engagement, and overall interest, it’s likely at this point that the reboot will not come back.”
Per the Nielsen database, season 12’s live premiere ratings were down 80% from those of season 11, with just 290,000 live viewers, making it the “least-watched live episode in the show’s history.”
“It seems like Vanderpump Rules’ time on TV has come to an end if they can’t turn the ship around,” the insider continued.
Lisa Vanderpump, 65, was also accused of being busy with other shows, including Hulu’s Vanderpump Villa, although a source insisted she’s been “very generous with her time promoting this show,” even hosting a party at SUR on Monday.
“It would be inaccurate to say it’s ‘not looking likely’ that the reboot would be picked up again with the same cast,” they added.
After seeing the news of the poor ratings on season 12, Pump Rules fans took to X.
“BRAVO NEVER DO A FULL REBOOT OF A SHOW AGAIN WTF IS THIS RATING,” one person demanded. “FROM 1 MILLION AVERAGE TO NOT EVEN 300K????”

Another fan agreed, saying, “Bravo loves to ruin a franchise.”
“I didn’t finish episode 1. I’m over and out!” wrote someone else.
“I only lasted 20 minutes and changed the channel,” a third person replied.
Others said that the cast wasn’t “compelling” and described season 12 as a “flop.”
Still, others said it “wasn’t bad” and noted that viewers can be “so fickle.”
“I enjoy it,” one person noted.
“It’s actually brilliant, unfortunately,” another added.
Vanderpump Rules season 12 airs on Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
